Your inspiration to begin working in hospitality:
The hospitality industry found me and I have never looked back. I chose a hotel for my co-op program since I wanted to gain security experience to pursue a career as a Police Officer.

My hospitality mentor:
I have been fortunate to have great mentors who guided me to opportunities to learn and develop my skills in hospitality. A good Manager can identify a win-win situation where your skills match a role within the hotel, and I had the chance to work in various departments in hotels.
