Your inspiration to begin working in hospitality:
I started to work in hotels as a summer job prior to going to college. Liked it so much that I cancelled my college application and continued working in the hotel business.

My biggest impact was working for Mr. I. Sharp, Chairman of Four Seasons Hotels.

What are your favourite aspects of your job?
Lots of variety, each day is different. It is all about the guests and also ones colleagues. Also the benefits are great.

What has inspired you to continue your career path in hospitality?
I loved that everyone I worked with were energetic and happy and passionate about their work. Loved working with the guests and ensuring their functions was a success and the thank you you get after each event was so rewarding.

Advice for students interested in a career in hospitality:
If you love working with people this is the job for you. It is very exciting to work in hotel industry, you get to know many cultures, you get to know about different food and you learn to work with a team. You learn to be creative on a daily basis to resolve problems or for food and beverage.
