I was 13 years old.

Your inspiration to begin working in hospitality:

My mom was the Executive Housekeeper at the Holiday Inn and she inspired me after hearing all the stories that she would come home with.

My hospitality mentor:

My inspiration always came and comes from those I work with. Whether it was at the hotel, the bar, the front desk or even now with the association, my draw comes from the knowledge, experience and energy of those I am working with.

What are your favourite aspects of your job?

The people. Mic drop.

What has inspired you to continue your career path in hospitality?

There has been so much opportunity to grow, learn and develop in hospitality. Every day is so different and this is very exciting as it develops us in so many ways and we are provided with so many people to learn from in our precious industry.
