Your inspiration to begin working in hospitality:
I grew up just over 30min from Niagara Falls. Tourism in my small town was an emerging industry so there were many opportunities to work as a young teen within the industry.

My hospitality mentor:
There were many. Each offered insight into their 'role' in the industry and helped me broaden my understanding of the tourism career landscape.

What are your favourite aspects of your job?
The people. Both the teams you work with, as well as the community and customers you serve. We work in an industry where people see the world, make life-long memories and unforgettable connections to place.

What has inspired you to continue your career path in hospitality?
Simply...it's fun. It is an ever changing landscape and the career paths shift, grow and improve as the industry and destinations evolve. Advice for students interested in a career in hospitality:
