I was 19 years old.

Your inspiration to begin working in hospitality:

To be completely honest, I needed a part-time job during university and the fact that hotels were open 24 hours gave me the flexibility to work during the times I was not in class.

My hospitality mentor:

My father. I grew up with hotel talk in my home and it felt right to follow that path.

What are your favourite aspects of your job?

Getting to know new people and interacting with guests.

​

What has inspired you to continue your career path in hospitality?

I went to school for political science but had experience in the hotel industry. When the job at ORHMA opened up, I felt it was the perfect position to combine my hospitality experience with my political background.

Advice for students interested in a career in hospitality:

You really are joining a family! This is a job where passion is brought to life and is so rewarding.
